Motic means More Than I Can Chew. It's a typeface I started in september 2020 and still haven't finished on account of it being... more than I can chew. It's my first typeface experiment, but it proved too ambitious.
Motic is based on Centaur by Bruce Rogers and attempts to keep the oldstyle look and stress, but with a more angular shape and semi-ink trap serifs to modernise it.
Motic will be released under a SIL Open Font License
